Native Garden Design

A native garden design with modern features has created an extremely low maintenance backyard.

The brief from the client was to create a low maintenance backyard that didn’t require a lot of work keeping in beautiful all year round. The garden features a pre fabricated concrete fully tiled pool. The exposed outer concrete pool shell blends in with the surrounding native planting. Corten still was used to clad the block retaining wall. Hardwood timber decking that will grey off surrounds the pool. An open level lawn area creates the sense of space. New timber stairs with timber cladding takes you from the pool area to the upper deck of the house.
