Modern Curved Pool Design

The inspiration for the design of this pool was the existing curved sandstone wall and how the landscaping would appear from the outdoor entertaining area that overlooks the backyard.

The design heroes the curves with the sweeping curved sandstone walls, coping, curved timber decking and curved edge to the pool. The timber deck that cantilevers over the pool creates the illusion of a deck floating above the water. Continuing the theme, the fully tiled pool has a sweeping curve that appears as an infinity edge providing a connection to the surrounding lush tropical style planting.

The wrought iron pool fence provides a classic element to the design and works beautifully with the sandstone walls. The planting palette chosen was a muted, restrained colour combination of green tones to creating a more peaceful, serene feeling to provide a perfect balance with the soft organic lines of the pool.
