Modern Inner City Outdoor Living
Faced with the challenge of making the rear garden of this inner city terrace appear larger, the design and selection of materials was paramount.
The aim was to bring warmth and comfort to the space with a contemporary style. The curved hardwood timber deck flows from inside the house and then sits, floating above the pool. Stunning Bluestone pavers were chosen for the coping and paved areas, providing a modern finish and complementing the timber and blue mosaic tiles of the pool's interior.
The hardwood timber bench seats were designed to maximise the potential of the entertainment area and give a warm and welcoming feel to the space. By converting the fixed seating into day beds, the owners can enjoy quiet and relaxing time by the pool during the day and then utilise the space for seating & entertaining into the night.
