Designer Sandstone
This sloped garden has been structured into tiered levels, using sandstone retaining walls and large format timber steps.
The use of natural materials blends beautifully with the seaside location and variety of predominantly native plants in the garden.
The large timber steps double as platforms from where the garden can be viewed from all angles. The soft curved shape of the retaining wall around the lawn is in contrast to the angles of the timber steps, softening the overall garden design and providing additional interest.
The focal points of the garden are the two large Dragon trees situated next to the timber steps, their height and form balances the height of the two storey house.
