Early Learning Services Daycare - Playground Landscaping
Our mandate was to design a range of play outcomes for toddlers in a safe, natural and stimulating setting.
Rubber wetpour was used to craft a bike track and the existing sandpit was relocated within the wetpour. This resulted in a safer sandpit and allowed sand to be swept back into the pit at the end of the day.
The bike track led to an active softfall play area where mobile equipment can be safely setup. A timber deck over a dry creek bed leads children through to an outdoor sensory room to explore rocks and plants with different colour, texture and fragrance.
